Philippe BATLOGG Fishing guide

Fishing guide in the Franche-Comté region of France, Philippe will take you to fish trout and grayling with fly or  spinning on the river Lison, Doubs . Advice can be given about where to stay including hotels in the zone. Renowned for the exceptionally clear waters, the Doubs department is a reference for fly fishing.

Fly fishing is practised on  dry flies and also with nymphs on the majority of the rivers of the region. The most favoured period for the beginning of season is May until mid-September (end of fishing season).

Fishing with spinners gives very good results throughout the season, although casting  must be precise. The choice of the colour and the shape of the spinner is extremely important.

Fishing with lures and also minnows is an often used for fishing for large trout throughout the year
